Eat, drink, be happy

Our Rehlegger kitchen team has selected, home-cooked or baked delicacies ready for you all day long. The day begins with a lavish breakfast buffet. With home-made jam, fresh eggs, mountain farmer’s cheese, bacon from our own smokehouse, bread from the village bakery, coffee from Dinzler and much more. Some of the products on our breakfast buffet come from the Berchtesgadener Land biosphere region, i.e. regionally from our district. So it’s good to have more than one morning at Rehlegg! At lunch and in the afternoon there is soup, bowls, daily changing light dishes and cakes from our in-house patisserie. And in the evening you can help yourself to our daily changing Rehlegg gourmet buffet in the “Lichtmanneggers” restaurant or eat à la carte in our “Almstüberl” in our hotel. Sometimes hearty alpine dishes are served on the plate, sometimes light herbal cuisine, sometimes grandma’s secret recipes. And of course we always have a little something ready for you as a midnight snack.

Because good is simply better. For everybody

Not only is it important to us that we satisfy every palate. We also invest heavily in sustainable food and rely only on meat from animal welfare. Because we value our guests. And because we believe that when it comes to “cheap” food, we all end up paying. Humans and animals and the environment.

What our Team works with comes almost exclusively from the region, often even directly from the neighboring farms. Meat and fish comes from a regional farm, game from the Berchtesgaden National Park. And the spring water that we give you for free is one of the best drinking water in Germany.

From 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. we offer you a sweet treat that changes daily.

From 6 p.m. you can enjoy the daily changing buffets in our gallery restaurant Lichtmannegger’s.

In our cozy Almstüberl you can indulge yourself to your heart’s content.
Currently, our à la carte restaurant is closed.
