As much as we love our hotel, we prefer to be outdoors in beautiful nature. In summer the air smells of flowers and clover. In winter the snowflakes dance and the ice crystals sparkle. And the mountain peaks are majestically enthroned. The Berchtesgadener Land biosphere region is entirely committed to gentle tourism. Here you can still feel it, the heartbeat of nature. And experience the rhythm of the seasons – each with its own charm.
Hiking is one of the most beautiful forms of locomotion. At least that’s what we think. But than again, the Berchtesgaden National Park is right on our doorstep.

Berchtesgaden is not a winter sports resort in the classic sense. More of a winter wonderland. Nevertheless, we have small but fine ski areas, cross-country trails with dream views and much more.
